v.18 - submit is different to obey. 'As is fitting...' = if it's right by God!
v.19 - sacrificial love, in decision making etc.
v.22 - 'reverence for the Lord' - must be OK with God.
v.1 - we (in 'west') are masters of the third world.

Husband/wife - equal responsibility.
Kids/parents - parents have more responsibility.

submitting: v.18, v.20, v.22 - do what's right by God.
authority: v.19, v.21, 4:1 - be fair.

working won't be easy: Gen 3:17.
