Four biblical words for worship:
Proskuneo - homage/submission
Latreuo - adoration/obedience
Leitourgeo - service
Sebomai/Phoebeomai - respect/reverence

So worship could be described as: 'Recognising & revering God & responding to it in our life'
Rom 12: We must offer ourselves in worship - our whole life
1 Thess 5:9-11: Purpose of Christians meeting together - building each other up & encouragement
Col 3:16: When we meet together, we should: teach/be taught & hear word, then respond with praise & prayer
Old Testament worship - Ps 103:1 (inner attitude), Amos 5:21-24 - God's looking for genuine worshipper
